Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Perform IV insertion and PICC line placement as needed
- Conduct telemetry interpretation and monitor cardiac rhythms
- Manage ventilator-dependent patients as required
- Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
- Float to other departments or affiliated facilities as needed based on departmental rotation and patient census
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of Emergency Room experience
- Venilator experience required
- Telemetry interpretation skills required
- BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR in an acute care or emergency setting
- Comfort working in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency department
- Flexibility to float across departments and multiple facility locations
