Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Night Shift | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Perform IV insertions and PICC line management
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings
- Provide ventilator management and care for patients requiring ventilator support
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech charting system
- Float to other departments and facilities as needed based on departmental rotation schedule
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ventilator management in an emergency or critical care environment
- Proficiency with Meditech electronic health records system
- Experience with telemetry interpretation in an acute care setting
