Contract | Days | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and disposition
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or compact licensure
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Emergency department clinical experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-volume emergency department environments
- Familiarity with triage protocols and emergency nursing best practices
- TNCC or CEN certification
