    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Location

    San Francisco, CA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Evening Variable Starts (11:00–23:00 / 15:00–03:00)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients across the acuity spectrum
    • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using electronic health record systems
    • Float to other facilities within the health system as needed based on staffing requirements
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California RN License
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
    • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
    • Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
    • Must have prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months
    • Must be willing and able to float to other departments, units, or facilities within the health system
    • COVID-19 vaccination and booster required — no exceptions
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
    • Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
    • Prior experience in a teaching hospital environment
