Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Mid Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Ability to float to other facilities - Epic charting experience - Previous charge experience Description: We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Nurse with a passion for providing quality care in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage a variety of patient diagnoses, including stroke, cardiac arrest, and respiratory issues. Experience in a Level II trauma center and a teaching hospital is preferred. Candidates must have strong skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and care of ventilated patients. Familiarity with emergency medications and procedures is essential. The position involves a patient ratio of 4:1 during shifts. Applicants should have an understanding of interdisciplinary support services and effective communication skills. The role requires flexibility to float to other departments or units when necessary. COVID-19 vaccination and booster are required, with no exceptions. Proof of vaccination must be provided prior to starting. Candidates will complete required modules and training upon hiring.
