    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Location

    Puyallup, WA | Acute Care – Level III Trauma Center

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | Mids/Nights (Start times 1500 or 1900) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department averaging approximately 200 patients per day, serving a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics
    • Manage high-acuity cases including trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, DKA, respiratory emergencies, and adult psychiatric presentations
    • Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV therapy, medication administration including drips, and procedural sedation
    • Administer blood products and cardiac medications; TNK administration experience preferred
    • Utilize central and bedside telemetry monitoring at the nursing station; complete required Traveler Telemetry Competency prior to start
    • Document accurately and efficiently using the Epic electronic health record system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Washington State
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI/MOAB
    • Recent Epic EHR experience required
    • Proficiency with Alaris infusion pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
    • Traveler Telemetry Competency must be completed and passed prior to start date
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with TNK (tenecteplase) administration
    • Background in high-acuity medical and trauma environments, particularly with geriatric and cardiac patient populations
    • Familiarity with procedural sedation protocols and advanced cardiac medication management
