Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Document patient information and clinical findings accurately using Cerner electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely, and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility dress code and professional standards at all times, including policies on appearance and attire
- Complete required orientation modules as scheduled during onboarding
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience (hard stop)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, MAB, NIHSS
- Availability to work weekends as required
- Must be separated from this facility for at least 1 year prior to starting as a traveler (applies to previous staff)
- Local candidates are welcome
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or Teaching hospital environment
- Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center workflows and high-acuity patient populations
- Experience charting in Cerner
