Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment within an acute care hospital setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Document patient information and clinical care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility dress code, infection control standards, and all compliance requirements throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid RN state license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, MAB, and NIHSS
- Must be available to work weekends as required
- COVID vaccination status must be provided at time of submission
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level II Trauma Center facility
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
- Comfort working in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency department
