    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Location

    Oakland, CA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment, including management of critically ill and trauma patients
    • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and respond appropriately to cardiac emergencies
    • Administer blood products and IV vasopressors per established protocols
    • Care for ventilated patients in coordination with the multidisciplinary team
    • Provide intermittent weekend coverage and work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays as expected
    • Float within the hospital to other units as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Valid California RN License (required at time of submission)
    • ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS certifications required (must be provided at time of submittal)
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required; 18 months may be considered for candidates coming from a comparable facility
    • Level I or Level II trauma experience required
    • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
    • Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • NIHSS certification
    • TNCC certification
    • 2 supervisor references preferred
