    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
    • Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
    • Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment
    • Support an EPIC conversion project, including accurate and timely documentation within the EHR system
    • Apply independent and supervisory discretion in fast-paced emergency room environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
    • EPIC experience within the last 12 months and recent Cerner experience required; each work history entry must reflect the charting system used
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
    • Previous experience in an acute care facility setting
