Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care continuum
- Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all clinical decisions
- Support an EPIC conversion project, including accurate and timely documentation within the EPIC system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- EPIC experience within the last 12 months and recent Cerner experience required; each work history entry must list the charting system used
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior acute care facility experience in an Emergency Room setting
