    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Independence, Missouri, 64057!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Rapid Response)

    Location

    Independence, MO | Acute Care – Emergency Department

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 48 hours per week | 6-week assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with 40+ beds and a 4:1 patient ratio (3 rooms and 1 hall bed during high volume)
    • Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring and interpretation
    • Operate and utilize department equipment including cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, and Lifepak devices
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, team leads, Advanced Paramedics, EDTs, MHSCs, and unit secretaries
    • Maintain all required certifications including BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI (CPI required by 9/30)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Required certifications at time of submission: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC
    • CPI certification required by 9/30
    • Strong adaptability and ability to function as a team player in a fast-paced environment
    • No RTO or special scheduling requests can be accommodated for this assignment
    • Must be available to start within 5–7 days of offer
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Previous experience in a high-pressure clinical environment
    • Prior background as an RN, Paramedic, or Emergency Department Technician
    • Outgoing, positive demeanor with the ability to perform effectively under pressure
