    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required | Projected Start: October 19, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 50-bed Emergency Department operating as a Trauma II facility and Comprehensive Stroke Center
    • Maintain a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio while delivering high-acuity emergency and trauma care
    • Perform trauma and ED procedures in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, LVNs, Paramedics, PCTs, and BHTs
    • Utilize GE Monitors, Belmont Rapid Infuser, and Meditech EMR to document and manage patient care
    • Participate in every other weekend rotation as required by unit scheduling
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
    • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • PALS certification required
    • TNCC certification required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior trauma nursing experience
    • Experience with Meditech EMR
    • Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude
