Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required | Projected Start: October 19, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 50-bed Emergency Department operating as a Trauma II facility and Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Maintain a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio while delivering high-acuity emergency and trauma care
- Perform trauma and ED procedures in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, LVNs, Paramedics, PCTs, and BHTs
- Utilize GE Monitors, Belmont Rapid Infuser, and Meditech EMR to document and manage patient care
- Participate in every other weekend rotation as required by unit scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior trauma nursing experience
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude
