Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a combined Adult/Pediatric, non-trauma Emergency Department
- Perform triage assessments and manage patient flow in a high-acuity environment
- Administer blood products, manage central lines, perform phlebotomy, and start IVs
- Administer continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation
- Manage ventilated patients, administer CPAP/BiPAP, and interpret ABGs
- Float to other campus locations as needed and work weekends and holidays per contract requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed)
- Current driver's license required; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with triage in a high-volume emergency setting
- Comfort managing ventilated patients and interpreting ABGs in an ED environment
- Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for weekends and holidays
