    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 3x12-Hour Evening Shifts (14:30–03:00) | Weekends Required | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a large Emergency Department serving low- to high-acuity patients, including Stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, and Behavioral Health populations
    • Support acute care boarding within the ED as needed
    • Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as required by the assignment
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
    • Participate in holiday coverage; candidates are expected to commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (first-time travelers considered with this experience level)
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
    • Proficiency with Epic charting system
    • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of candidate submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
    • 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or high-volume emergency department environment
    • Familiarity with stroke, STEMI, and trauma protocols
    • Flexibility with scheduling, including holidays and floating to nearby facilities
