    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 3x12-Hour Evening Shifts (14:30–03:00) | Onsite | Weekends Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a large Emergency Department managing a broad acuity range, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, and behavioral health patients
    • Deliver care within a Level II Adult Trauma Center and Level III Pediatric Trauma Center environment, including support for a Primary Stroke Receiving Center and STEMI Receiving Center
    • Accurately document all patient care activities using Epic EMR
    • Float between units or sister facilities as operationally required
    • Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR
    • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of candidate submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
    • 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in high-acuity emergency settings including trauma, stroke, and critical care
    • Familiarity with thrombectomy center protocols and transfer acceptance workflows
    • Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling, including holidays and floating assignments
