    Contract | 13 Weeks | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Primary Days with Rotating Mids as Needed (07:00–19:30 / 11:00–23:30) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume combined Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department
    • Manage a wide range of complex patient diagnoses across a pediatric through geriatric population
    • Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4, up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients
    • Work within a STEMI Certified and Stroke Certified emergency department
    • Float within the specialty and to sister emergency departments as needed
    • Participate in every other weekend rotation and holidays as scheduled
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required; first-time travelers with a strong ER background will be considered
    • Active Maryland RN license or Compact License required at time of submission
    • BLS and ACLS – American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • PALS – American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
    • CPI certification required (Calm Every Storm online version is the only accepted online vendor; may be completed on-site during onboarding)
    • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (permanent address)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a high-volume, combined Adult/Pediatric emergency setting
    • Familiarity with STEMI and Stroke protocols
    • Comfort with floating within scope and across departments with no restrictions
