    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours | Rotating Mid Shifts (07:00–19:30 / 11:00–23:30) | Onsite | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holidays required as scheduled | Anticipated Start: 07/27/2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department serving patients from neonates through geriatrics
    • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4–5, adjusting to acuity levels as needed
    • Operate within a STEMI Certified and Stroke Certified facility, applying appropriate protocols
    • Float within the Emergency Department specialty and to sister ED locations as needed; travelers are first to float
    • Adhere to all scheduling requirements including every other weekend and holidays as they fall
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required; first-time travelers with a strong skillset may be considered
    • Active Maryland RN license or Compact License required at time of submission
    • BLS – American Heart Association only
    • ACLS – American Heart Association only
    • PALS – American Heart Association only
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
    • CPI certification required; The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor (may be completed on-site during onboarding)
    • Must reside 50 or more miles from the facility to be eligible (permanent address required)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a high-acuity, combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department setting
    • Familiarity with STEMI and Stroke protocols and workflows
    • Comfort with flexible scheduling, including rotating mid shifts based on departmental need
