    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Triage)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform triage assessments for patients presenting to the Emergency Department with acute injuries or medical emergencies
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma Center environment
    • Utilize Epic EMR for patient assessment, care documentation, and electronic medication administration
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and appropriate patient interventions
    • Manage a diverse patient population across a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment areas
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 6 years of Emergency Room nursing experience — required for triage role, non-negotiable
    • Triage training and current or very recent triage experience required
    • Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
    • Active Massachusetts (MA) RN License required
    • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • Must have been separated from the affiliated health system for a minimum of 6 months (permanent, per diem, or contract) to be eligible
    • Candidates must be available for holiday shifts; excessive time-off requests, particularly around holidays, will not be considered
    • Local candidates are welcome
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a high-volume, Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department
    • Strong proficiency with computerized charting and electronic medication administration
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing clinical environment
