    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate total nursing care for patients across a newborn-to-geriatric population in a 10-bed Emergency Department
    • Participate in patient and family teaching, ensuring patient rights and privacy are protected at all times
    • Collaborate cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care team personnel to maintain professional nursing standards in the clinical setting
    • Adhere to ethical and professional standards as defined by the ANA Code for Nurses, the ANA Nursing's Social Policy Statement, and applicable state and federal regulatory requirements
    • Maintain individual competence in nursing practice and demonstrate responsible acceptance of individual actions and clinical judgments
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required
    • Active Michigan RN license required
    • ACLS certification required
    • PALS or ENPC certification required (ENPC accepted in place of PALS)
    • TNCC certification required
    • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
    • Must reside more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates within 35 miles are considered local travelers and may be subject to a reduced rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Paragon EMR
    • Familiarity with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio environment
    • Experience caring for a broad patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric
