Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends (4 shifts per schedule) | No Call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with 32+ beds and a 4:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, Medics, and PCTs across shift rotations
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Anticipate patient and department needs while maintaining a strong team-player approach
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- TNCC required – must be obtained by start date
- ENPC required – must be obtained by start date
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Greater than 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate patient and departmental needs in a fast-paced environment
