    Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing approximately 180–200 visits per day, serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
    • Manage a patient ratio of 1:4, performing independent lab draws and IV starts
    • Care for a diverse case mix including trauma, CVA, orthopedic, and neurological presentations; coordinate transfers for cases requiring higher-level care
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including ED physicians, APPs, nurse aides, paramedics, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, and security personnel
    • Utilize Meditech 6.15 EMR for all documentation and patient management
    • Adhere to department protocols including proper callout procedures, orientation completion within week one, and uniform requirements (Caribbean Blue scrubs only)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in good standing
    • Minimum 5 years of emergency room nursing experience
    • At least one prior travel nursing assignment
    • Proficiency with Meditech EMR (version 6.15 preferred)
    • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, and CPI
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-volume emergency department with trauma and stroke center capabilities
    • Familiarity with behavioral health protocols and working in or adjacent to a secured psychiatric unit
    • Experience working alongside respiratory therapy teams managing ventilated patients in the ED
