Description: Pediatric Emergency Department (Peds ED) – Travel RN OpportunityShift Details Schedule: Day / Evening / Night Rotating Shifts. * Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

• 4x12-hour shifts
• 48 hours per week strongly preferred

Unit Overview

• Pediatric Emergency Department providing family-centered care to patients under the age of 19
• Level 1 pediatric trauma and burn center
• Complex tertiary care case mix
• Unit is comprised of:
  • 18 general care beds
  • 1 critical care bed
  • 4 urgent care beds
  • Access to a shared 7-bed trauma bay (shared with adult ED)
• Staff are trained to function in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Scope of care ranges from treat-and-release to acute critical care and trauma

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (NY license only)
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Emergency Department experience
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• PALS certification – American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
• NIHSS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Burn care experience (highly desirable)
• TNCC certification
• ATCN certification
• ABLS certification
