Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 48-hour contracts preferred. Every other weekend required. No call or float requirements. Contract duration up to February 27, 2027.
Highlights:
- High-volume emergency department serving approximately 170 visits per day with 53 beds
- Level 2 trauma center treating adult patients including STEMI, stroke, and trauma cases
- Patient ratios: 3:1 non-critical, 2:1 critical patients, 5:1 medical boarders
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- 36-48 hour orientation provided with competitive contract lengths available through February 2027

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
- Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
- Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and MOAB
- Required skills: IV start, triage, telemetry interpretation and management, and conscious sedation
- Must pass EKG competency testing prior to start date
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions available)
- Preferred: ENPC certification and trauma experience
