Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 11, 2026

Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs.

Highlights:
  • 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient populations including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
  • Comprehensive case mix: stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
  • Specialized equipment experience including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun therapy systems
  • Unit includes 40 acute care beds, 2 trauma bays, 2 triage stations, 6 super track beds, 10 clinical decision unit beds, and 6 behavioral health beds
  • EPIC electronic medical records system in use
  • Charge nurse capability highly preferred
Requirements:
  • Active New York Registered Nurse license required
  • Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric patient care experience
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – must be current at time of submission
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Ability to float to other units as needed
