Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 11, 2026

Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• 64-bed Level I Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Common diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Unit features include 40 acute beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, 6 super track, 6 psych beds, and 2 triage areas
• EPIC EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Floating to other units as needed; local and travel candidates considered

Requirements:

• Active New York Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric patient care experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand prior to start)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license
• Strong clinical skills with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
