Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: New York

Schedule: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM shift; 12.5-hour shifts with block scheduling available based on facility needs
Highlights:
- Fast-paced 64-bed Emergency Department treating stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics across acute care, trauma, CDU, and psych units
- EPIC EMR system utilized throughout the facility
- Charge nurse capability highly preferred for qualified candidates
- Specialty equipment experience including rapid infuser and Arctic Sun cooling system
- Travel assignment requiring demonstrated travel nursing experience
Requirements:
- Active New York RN license (verified through Nursys)
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric patient exposure
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (all required)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Proficiency with critical drips and medications including pressors (Levophed, Neo, Epinephrine, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine), vasodilators (Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG), anti-arrhythmics (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lidocaine), and sedation medications (Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl), as well as TNK, Heparin, and Insulin
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
- Must reside 75+ miles from facility to qualify for travel rates
