Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Utica, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Floating to other units as needed.
Highlights:
- 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Comprehensive unit includes 40 acute beds, 2 triage areas, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 clinical decision unit beds, and 6 psychiatric beds
- Epic EMR system in use throughout the facility
- Common diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Specialty equipment experience includes Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun temperature management system
- Charge nurse capability highly preferred and valued
Requirements:
- Active New York State RN license required
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric patient care experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be current at time of start)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Valid driver's license
- Local candidates welcome (within 75 miles)
