**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as a Registered Nurse!**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nursing)
- **Role:** ED RN
- **Schedule:** 7 PM - 7 AM
- **Duration:** 13 weeks
- **Guaranteed Hours:** 36-hour guarantee
- **Location Requirement:** 100-mile radius rule
**Qualifications:**
- Current NYS RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
- MEDITECH experience required
- Travel experience required
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
**Preferred Experience:**
- Critical Care and charge experience
- Proven ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
**Skills:**
- Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and quality patient care
- Strong assessment skills for clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
- Awareness of safety issues for self and others
- Ability to use lifts for patient movement safely
- Composed under stress with excellent problem-solving skills
**Leadership:**
- Strong leadership abilities with a knack for prioritizing and delegating tasks
- May assume duties as a charge nurse
**Communication:**
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
**Certifications Required:**
- Lethal dysrhythmia exam to be completed during probation
- Defibrillation certification within six months of employment
- IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification during orientation
