Key Responsibilities of the ED Registered Nurse- Manage patient care for stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure cases
- Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
- Administer required drips and medications, including Pressors, Vasodilators, and Sedation drugs
- Provide care for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Adapt to floating requirements as needed
Requirements of the ED Registered Nurse- Active NY RN License with verification through NURSYS
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ED with some pediatric experience
- Documented travel nursing experience
- EMR experience required, particularly EPIC
