Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team in Utica, NY. This travel role is ideal for those with a strong background in emergency care, combining pediatric and adult patient experience. Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse- Provide care for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Administer and monitor required drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedation, and anticoagulants
- Operate specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
- Assess and manage common emergency diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse- Valid New York RN License verified through NURSYS
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- Minimum of 2 years' ED experience with pediatric capabilities and travel experience
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR systems
- Capability to take charge and float as needed
