Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM shifts; block scheduling subject to facility needs
Highlights:
- 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Comprehensive ED experience with 40 acute care beds, 2 triage areas, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psych beds
- Specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun for advanced critical care
- Common diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- EPIC EMR system utilized facility-wide
- Charge nurse capability highly preferred; floating to other units as needed
Requirements:
- Active New York RN License (NURSYS verification required)
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric exposure
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand at time of submission)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Valid driver's license
- Current skills checklist matching specialty
