Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Kansas
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Topeka, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week with shift start times at either 7:00 AM or 11:00 AM. Weekend rotation and holiday rotation required. Contract length available for 13 or 14 weeks based on candidate preference.
Highlights
- Work in a 34-bed Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center
- Epic EMR experience preferred

- Guaranteed 36 hours per week with no on-call or call-back requirements
- Candidates with MOAB or CPI certification at time of submission will be offered enhanced compensation
- Time-off requests accommodated with advance notice (maximum 5 days during assignment)
Requirements
- Current Kansas RN license or valid multistate compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must be through American Heart Association)
- TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
- MOAB or CPI certification preferred for enhanced compensation rate
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required; 4 years preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to function independently from day one
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Clear license and background check required
