Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department RN- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an emergency department setting
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient information accurately and promptly
Requirements of the Emergency Department RN- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing
- Current NYS licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- 1+ years of experience in an emergency department
