Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Aberdeen, Washington. This role is situated in a dynamic emergency department, providing critical care to a diverse patient population experiencing acute illnesses and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergent conditions.
- Conduct rapid and thorough patient assessments, prioritize care, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and operate medical equipment according to established protocols.
- Monitor, interpret, and document patient responses to interventions and treatments.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an Emergency Department RN.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

- Hours: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Shift Duration: 12 hours

- Time Off (RTO) Policy: All requested time off must be pre-approved and will be added to the end of the contract. Full availability for scheduling is required.

Licensing Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Washington OR a valid multi-state compact RN license.
- Completion of an approved 6-hour suicide training course (as required by Washington State for RN practice).
- Verification of demographics from Nursys (if holding a multi-state compact license for practice in WA).
