Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1900-0730), includes weekends and holidays. Patient ratio 4:1. 20 hours of orientation provided.

- Fast-paced Emergency Department providing comprehensive care to approximately 45,000 patients annually across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- Level IV Trauma Center, Acute Stroke Ready Center, and Pediatric Ready Emergency Department designations
- 40 exam rooms plus 19 vertical care spaces with flex capacity to accommodate surges in patient volume
- Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
- Coordinate with ground ambulance services and Med Flight for critically ill and injured patients
- Travel assignment with free onsite parking provided
Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required
- Minimum two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only) required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
- Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Previous travel experience required
- Must pass telemetry examination prior to start with strict passing criteria including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and 80% overall passing score
- Floating to other units as needed is required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
