The shift hours are from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. The contract length is 13 weeks with a patient ratio of 1:5. Every other weekend and holiday availability is required. Candidates will be expected to float within their skill set. The emergency department features a state-of-the-art facility and advanced diagnostic technology. Nurses will manage a wide range of emergency diagnoses. Special equipment used within the unit includes Bair huggers and rapid infusers. All nurses must adhere to isolation precautions and triage protocols. Applicants should have experience in managing ventilated patients, performing phlebotomy, and starting or maintaining IVs. Emergency medications and procedures, including trauma care, are also integral to this role.
