Job Title: Emergency Services Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in emergency nursing required. License: Valid Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, MAB, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as core staff in the first nursing job. - No new graduates or first-time travelers. - History of extended assignments preferred. - No travelers with history of cancellations. - Experience with general emergency department and combined adult/pediatric care. - Skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, starting IVs, and patient triage. Description: We are seeking a qualified Emergency Services Registered Nurse for a fast-paced emergency department. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience. New graduates and first-time travelers will not be considered for this position. Travelers should have a history of extended assignments and no cancellations. The role involves direct patient care in a diverse environment. Key responsibilities include managing patients with complex medical conditions and emergencies. Familiarity with medication systems and documentation software is essential. Minimum weekend coverage is every other weekend. Provider support is available through multiple interdisciplinary services. Candidates must comply with vaccination requirements. Preferred skills include experience with arterial line management, phlebotomy, and procedural sedation administration. All applicants must be able to demonstrate the required competencies and certifications.
