The shift will be three nights per week. The average daily census is approximately 130 patients. The facility has 47 beds. The patient population includes all age ranges from infants to geriatrics. You will encounter a variety of patient diagnoses in a fast-paced environment. The typical patient ratio is 1 nurse to 4 patients. Strong skill in emergency room procedures is essential. Applicants must have experience in managing complex diagnoses. Responsibilities include administering medications, performing assessments, and providing critical care. You will be required to float within the emergency room as needed. Attendance on weekends is mandatory, as well as working holidays as scheduled. Compliance with all policies and procedures is expected. All certifications must be up to date prior to the start of the contract. The ability to work efficiently in high-stress situations is important.
