TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in La Plata, Maryland, 20646!

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years preferred, but will consider 1 year of experience with strong skills License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Community hospital experience required - Travel experience required Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment. You will care for patients of all age ranges, from infants to geriatrics. The average daily census will be around 130 patients. You will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:4. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. You will float within the specialty as needed. This role does not have pre-scheduled on-call requirements. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS. You will need to demonstrate skills in various emergency conditions. This includes care of ventilated patients and management of acute psychosis. Other patient diagnoses will vary, covering all types of emergencies. You will work closely with interdisciplinary support teams. Special equipment used in the unit includes ultrasound and transvenous pacemakers. Candidates must meet all compliance requirements before starting. Flexibility with scheduling is essential in this role.
