Emergency Department RN - Night Shift Opportunity

- **Shift Information**:
- Night Shift: 1900-0730
- **Experience Requirements**:
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Strong skills in emergency care are a must!
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide outstanding patient care in a community emergency department
- Work efficiently in a high-admission rate setting
- Foster a supportive atmosphere for patients and team members alike
- **Department Overview**:
- 16 beds with approximately 25,000 cases annually
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:3-4
- Focus on adult emergency care with minimal trauma or pediatric patients
- **Top Diagnoses/Procedures**:
- Stroke
- STEMI
- Sepsis
- Respiratory and Cardiac diseases
- Orthopedic emergencies
- **Essential Skills**:
- Line Management:
- IV Insertion
- PICC/Central Line Management
- Cardiac Expertise:
- Obtain 12 Lead EKG
- Tele Interpretation
- Cardioversion/Defibrillation
- Airway Competence:
- Procedural Sedation
- CPAP/BiPAP
- Ventilator Management
- Trach Care
- **Preferred Skills**:
- Experience with Chemical Dependency
