Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse (Oncology Pod) – Ohio
Start Date: October 19, 2026

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Day/Night rotation or Nights only available; 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio; Floating required as needed

- Serves diverse patient populations across all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- 76 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
Requirements:
- Active Ohio RN license or valid compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience required
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- EPIC charting system experience required
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
- Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
- Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line care, emergency medications, interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, 12-lead EKG, phlebotomy, and triage
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Important Application Notes:

- Ohio fingerprinting is required and must be completed immediately upon contract signing – strict compliance deadlines apply
- Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location as soon as possible after booking
- Compliance deadline is the Tuesday prior to start date with no exceptions
- Former employees eligible after 6 months away from the facility; current employees ineligible for travel assignments
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
