Description: This is a travel position for a registered nurse specializing in the emergency department. The emergency department has a capacity of 50 beds and employs 68 staff members. The typical staffing includes 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMT/Medics on night shift. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:4 or 1:5 but are never guaranteed. Equipment used includes EKGs, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose monitors. The EMR system in place is Meditech. Candidates should possess a dynamic personality and strong communication skills. Experience in trauma and stroke care is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will be energetic, collaborative, and adept at managing patient care needs.
