# Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** October 5, 2026 **Location:** Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 13-week contract, 12-hour shifts (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM), rotating weekends, no on-call requiredHighlights:
- Work in a high-volume Emergency Department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast Track beds, and 5 behavioral health rooms
- Patient ratios: 1:4 for general ED, 1:5 for behavioral health, 1:3 for cardiac/trauma patients
- Utilize Meditech EMR and state-of-the-art equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
- Diverse case mix including trauma, cardiac monitoring, behavioral health, airway support, central lines, and resuscitation
- Collaborative team environment with charge nurses, PCTs, paramedics, and LVNs supporting each shift
- Active unit-based council and social committee fostering team engagement
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Texas
- ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
- Meditech experience preferred
- Trauma and inpatient holding experience preferred
- CPI certification is a plus
- Strong multitasking abilities and self-starter mentality
