The driver's license address must be included in submissions. All travelers must have TNCC certification. Unit averages 180-200 visits per day. Ratios are 1 to 4. Charge nurse available. Nurse aides/paramedics will be present (5-6 per shift). Security and patient sitters will hold in the main ER until admitted. Weekend requirements every other weekend. Holiday requirements every other holiday. Specific scrub color: Caribbean Blue. Monitoring techs provided for central monitoring. Respiratory therapists available 24/7 to manage vents. Pharmacy operates 24/7 on campus. Nurses perform their own lab draws and IV starts. Common patient diagnoses range from pediatrics to geriatrics. Trauma patients will be accommodated with some being admitted directly. CVA center status for managing specific stroke cases. The call-out process will be emphasized for accountability. Completion of orientation is expected during the first week. Cancellation policy is set at 12 hours every two weeks. Charting system used is Meditech. BSN is not a requirement. Emergency department maintains a dedicated respiratory team.
