Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
Job Summary
This is an exciting 13-week travel assignment for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at an acute care facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The successful candidate will provide expert nursing care to a diverse surgical patient population, primarily focusing on complex Neuro and Orthopedic procedures, including robotic-assisted surgeries.
This role demands a high level of versatility and adaptability within a fast-paced perioperative environment. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned traveler, adept at integrating quickly into new teams and systems while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Prepare the operating room with all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons during procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring a sterile field.
- Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses during surgery.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure patient safety and advocate for patient needs throughout the surgical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent, acute care Operating Room experience.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia (or compact state license with GA endorsement).
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Shift Details
- Shift Type: AM shifts
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Days per Week: 3 days per week (days vary)
- Call Requirements: Call is required.
- Holiday Requirements: Must work two (2) major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one (1) minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) falling within the assignment period.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Assignment Dates: October 19, 2026 – January 16, 2027
Licensing Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
