Description

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratio; every other weekend required; no call; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Highlights:

  • Level 3 Trauma Center (in process) with Primary Stroke Center designation
  • 59-bed Emergency Department with approximately 250 patient visits daily
  • Specialized care for CHF, STEMI, and chest pain center patients
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response Teams, Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy
  • First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
  • Maximum 7 days of approved time off available; must be finalized at time of submission

Requirements:

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required
  • TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications preferred
  • Competencies required: Care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and triage
  • Telemetry competency exam required
  • Full compliance documentation due Tuesday prior to start date; core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
  • All patients age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
