Job Opportunity – Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – Kansas

Start Date: September 9, 2026

Location: Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 12-hour shifts with 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel per pod

  • 52-bed Emergency Department offering diverse, fast-paced clinical experience
  • Average patient ratio of 3:1; low acuity cases may be 5:1; pediatric team nursing model
  • Comprehensive case mix including IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric emergencies
  • Meditech EMR system; Alaris infusion pump technology
  • Collaborative staffing model with physician and midlevel provider support on every shift
  • Dynamic, experienced team in a high-volume emergency care environment
Requirements:
  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Department nursing experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
  • Travel nursing experience or large facility emergency department experience strongly preferred
  • Meditech EMR experience preferred
  • Experience in 50+ bed emergency departments highly desirable
  • Strong patient experience focus and customer service orientation
