TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Leonardtown, Maryland, 20650!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Mid Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Must have valid state nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: Completion of at least 1 travel assignment General Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric patients Experience with Cerner charting system Description: Emergency Room Registered Nurse position available. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. The role includes working 3 shifts of 12 hours each week. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend with 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. Patient ratios are 1:4-6. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS. A background in addressing various emergency conditions is essential. Skills sought include management of ventilators, intubation, and IV administration. The candidate must be comfortable managing a wide range of emergency situations. A focus on both adult and pediatric care is necessary. Experience in a Level I or II trauma center is preferred. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. References from previous supervisory roles are required. Candidates should have a record of successful interactions with interdisciplinary teams. Compliance with health and safety protocols is mandatory. Candidates are expected to adhere to the established staffing and scheduling guidelines.
