Job Title: RN - Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; Will accept first-time travelers with 3+ years of Level 1 trauma center experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: Experience in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Ability to handle diverse patient types and diagnoses including trauma, stroke, and burn cases. Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. You will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. Your aim will be to deliver safe, therapeutic care according to established standards, policies, and procedures. Utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making is essential. Strong communication skills and compassion are a must as you work towards creating the safest patient environment. You will encounter a variety of patient scenarios including trauma, stroke, cardiac emergencies, and behavioral health crises. Patient ratios will vary based on the clinical area and acuity level, allowing for dynamic and responsive patient care. Support staff will include ED Technicians, Charge Nurses, and Critical Care Pharmacists available 24/7. You will also have access to telemetry monitoring and point-of-care ultrasound technology. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is key to ensuring the best patient experience across the continuum of care. Scrub color required is royal blue.
